The Lineup

The Trophy Brides
  –  4:00~5:00  –  Stage 1

“Junior Hickey wails as the singer and harp player, Pete Edwards kicks rock and blues arse on guitar and Mitchie Mayhem plays his Double bass with more punch and rhythm than Mike Tyson and Ginger Baker's lovechild.”

Jimi Beavis & the 385s  –  5:00~6:00  –  Stage 2
“As Blues Performers of the Year for South-East Queensland in 2009, Jimi Beavis and the 385s is the hottest new band in Brisbane. With a rocker, two jazzers and a harmonica player from the Brisbane school of Chicago blues, the band sing originals and spin some classics, creating dance music for all.”

Asa Broomhall (solo)  –  6:00~7:00  –  Stage 1
“If you fancy a mix of Rock, Folk and Blues with a dose of mischief, make sure you hear Asa's music and experience one of Australia's best kept secrets.”

Doc Span & Ross Williams  –  7:00~8:00  –  Stage 2
“The duo plays powerful down home blues deeply rooted in the Chicago and Mississippi styles that represent Span and Williams respective upbringings. Their instinctive blues chemistry and enduring friendship prompts wild, fun and enthusiastic performances.”

Doug Wilshire & the Tailspinners  –  8:00~9:00  –  Stage 1
“Expect a full dance floor from an electrifying mix of slappin’ double bass, steel guitar and the occasional banjo from ‘Diamond’ Doug’s latest outfit The Tailspinners.”

Bluesville Station  –  9:00~10:00  –  Stage 2
“If you like to rock it up, step out and boogie or sit back and enjoy some travellin' blues music, you can jump off right here at Bluesville Station.”

The Mojo Webb Band  –  10:00~11:00  –  Stage 1
" Utterly fresh and unique but steeped in the tradition of real, authentic blues, Mojo's music is truly world-class. With charisma and a naturally captivating stage presence, Mojo breathes new life into roots-based sounds.”

The Hipshooters  –  11:00~12:00am  –  Stage 2
“They are a tight powerhouse band, with a stage presence that can’t be ignored. Anton fires up the lead guitar to a virtual avalanche of sound, while Billy on bass evokes a city-sized generator and with John on percussion, they thrash it all together.”
