Carita Farrer at Drift
She’s back! Carita Farrer is performing her new Cabaret show 'Too Much is Never Enough' at Drift Restaurant – opening 31 August!
Outrageous and Fabulous are words that come to mind when describing Carita Farrer, the new world class addition to Drift’s successful foray into live music.
It’s a real treat to have Carita back in Brisbane after an absence of over two years touring the world with her husband Hayden Spencer and their two children whilst Hayden performed the role of ‘Clown Vincente’ for Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion.
Carita says “To be asked to be Resident Cabaret Queen at Brisbane’s sexiest new venue, with its magnificent location, exquisite food and top class ambience…means that I’ll be doing my very best to upstage it all. Let me just say… Look out.”
This frocked, wigged and feathered cabaret star has been described by Brisbane News Magazine as “an outrageous combination of Shirley Bassey and Dawn French.”
Drift owner, David Moore is thrilled to have her on board. Hardworking mother of two and juggling a multi-award winning career isn’t easy but Carita takes it all in her stride.
Her sharp, glamorous and wickedly warm shows will have you in tears or in stitches, or both at the same time!

Drift Restaurant
