National Play Festival

Ignite your imagination at the National Play Festival.

With more than 20 performances of new plays in one week, the National Play Festival is a feast of Australian theatre with something to sample for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tuck into a Play for Breakfast, see Australia’s best new scripts come to life in the Showcase season, and discover the formula for the Bestest Play in Australia. The National Play Festival presents first-look performances of brand new plays hot from the rehearsal room. You might see actors still reading from their scripts, you won’t see any sets or costumes, but you will definitely see the freshest, most exciting theatre being crafted, molded and brought to life before your eyes.

Plus join us at the Opening Night Party and more! Visit www.nationalplayfestival.org.au for full programme details.
