Portside Wharf Coffee and Chocolate Affair 09
The successful Portside Wharf Coffee and Chocolate Affair is set to
provide sweet relief to thousands of coffee addicts and chocoholics
with organisers releasing the event date for Sunday 12 July.
The overwhelming success of the 2008 inaugural event attracted more
than 7,000 people across the two days, showcasing exotic coffee and
chocolate cultures from around the world, with key sponsors taking part
in the event including Lindt, Lavazza and Dairy Farmers.
The free festival provides an opportunity for industry experts to
indulge the Brisbane public’s senses by showcasing local and national
coffee and chocolate products.
Now in its second year, The Portside Wharf Coffee and Chocolate
Affair is set to promote the passionate exchange of fine flavours by
offering a gloriously diverse array of festivities that explore the
many facets of Coffee and Chocolate through arts, culture, cuisine and
culinary experiences.
This year’s festival is delighted to welcome both local and national
guests to showcase an array of coffee and chocolate stalls, giving
Brisbane the opportunity to taste and experience a broad range of
products, alongside some of the world’s favourite brands.
The festival will feature a number of local and national coffee and
chocolate producers and retailers alongside an array of local artists,
great entertainment, chocolate body painting and sculptures, and a full
master class program.
