Rokeby Venus has come of age as a band the good old-fashioned way by playing live gigs, lots and lots of live gigs. They have learned first hand what the people like and don’t like. They have taken this hard earned knowledge and applied it to their craft in the studio.

The result is their new full-length album, Worlds in Collision. The tracks were recorded in Byron Bay and produced by Aria Award nominee producer/engineer, Anthony Lycenko (Pete Murray, Xavier Rudd). The end results are fresh and familiar like only great pop music can be.

The band will be playing tracks from their new album as well as material from throughout their career when they launch the new CD at The Tempo Hotel (Fortitude Valley) on Friday, April 15.

Joining them on the night will be Hailey Calvert. Tickets will be available from OzTix and The Tempo Hotel.
