The Reel Anime Festival 2010
The Reel Anime festival is an exciting showcase of the very best feature length anime films, and it is returning in September 2010 with its strongest lineup ever.

Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance
The second film in the epic rebuild of Evangelion takes us in a frightening, thrilling and cinematically stunning new direction. The story of Shinji, Asuka and Rei, the chosen children who fight to save Tokyo-3 from monstrous creatures known as Angels is given new dimensions of both light, and dramatically dark. Piloting the mighty Eva will demand more of Shinji and those around him than any of them are prepared for! Must not be missed!
Summer Wars
In the near future, the creation of virtual community of OZ has made possible for everyone to access the internet from anywhere and anytime.Kenji, a normal high school student, spends his summer holidays working part-time maintaining the OZ system. But then the girl of his dreams, Natuski, invites him to accompany her back to Nagano, her hometown. When they arrive, Kenji is bewildered when Natsuki asks him to pretend to be her fiancé, so that she can make her elderly grandmother happy.
His first night in Nagano, Kenji receives an e-mail with a strange mathematic riddle from a mysterious sender. Kenji, a math whiz, is intrigued by this riddle but when he finally solves the answer the world is completely changed. News reports are awash about a story about a lawless avatar in OZ, and Kenji is astonished to see that it is his avatar! The innocent Kenji is maligned as an OZ criminal, and before he knows what is happening, he is thrown into a battle with the fate of the world in the balance.
"The whole family will work to sort out any problem caused by our own!" Natsuki's grandmother gives the order, and Kenji, Natsuki, and Natsuki's relatives join together to try to save the world!
King of Thorn
Based on the award-winning manga. A disease, called ‘Medusa’, which turns a person’s body to stone and subsequently kill them, has become a worldwide epidemic. Clinging to the hope of a cure, a group of chosen infected people is put into cold sleep capsules in an underground facility located in an ancient castle.
The group is set upon by ferocious monsters, and in their panic to escape, only seven of the Medusa sufferers survive. But how long have they been asleep? And what’s happened to the world? While the survivors attempt to come to terms with their situation, the monsters continue to relentlessly attack, and the time limit until the disease consumes them is fast approaching…
Redline
The toughest and the most destructive underground car race in the universe, REDLINE, has just begun! JP is a reckless driver oblivious to speed limits, and Sonoshee, one of his competitors with whom JP is secretly in love with, is a hot girl determined to do whatever it takes to stand on the winner’s podium. In order to win the finals, they’re up against the craziest drivers with their heavily armed and awesome road-tearing vehicles.
On top of that, during the race, they have to avoid military crackdown by the government because the race is actually prohibited in Roboworld. The only help JP wants is the engine obtained and custom-tuned by his long time buddies, Frisbee the mechanic and Mogura Oyaji the junk shop. While cars crash and burst into flames, the race course becomes a dangerous mine-field. Who will survive to win in this mass-destruction race?!
