While working on the 1990 Paul McCartney tour of Japan four roadies  formed an act to do some funny stunts on Japanese TV and their segment became the most popular on the programme......the Tokyo Shock Boys were born.

20 years later in a colourful career the Tokyo Shock Boys have delighted, amazed and shrink-wrapped thousands of happy people. The Shock Boys remain the most well known and recognised Japanese live act around the world. They regularly feature in comedy and music Festivals night clubs and theatres from Moscow to Barcelona. Their fast paced show is a circus of physical stamina delivered with a surreal Japanese sensibility.

The Tokyo Shock Boys are: Danna San, the tall one who expresses milk through his eyes; Gyuzo San, who plunges his head into hot wax and plays with scorpions; Nambu San, dancing master of Zen who hates bleach and onions; and Sango San, mischievous blond MC who puts out cigarettes with his tongue.

To celebrate their 20th Anniversary, the Tokyo Shock Boys return to Australia with a brand new show which has all your favourite stunts and some spectacular new ones.

A Tokyo Shock Boys performance is infused with Japanese Culture.  Their unique Dengeki dance, marshal arts moves, polite bows and apologies for tea ceremonies gone wrong.  The excitement is driven by the talented playing of musician GENJI on keyboards and samples plus the boys brilliant Tyco drumming on air-conditioning ducts or oil drums.
