Tim Robbins’ acclaimed theatre ensemble, The Actors’ Gang brings to life The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, the powerful true story from poet-priest Daniel Berrigan.
When two Catholic priests and seven fellow Catholic activists were charged with an act of civil disobedience in 1968 for burning hundreds of stolen draft files, their actions galvanised the Vietnam War protest movement. While condemned as criminals in a court of law, they were hailed as patriots in the streets.
