deepblue – The Dream
This is fun you need to have... after the national success of deepblue 1.0 'the preview', the internationally acclaimed deepblue orchestra returns to Brisbane with a new show THE DREAM, playing at the Roundhouse Theatre from 7-17 October 2009.
To describe deepblue as an orchestra is inadequate - it looks like an orchestra, sounds like a band, and feels like a movie. With THE DREAM, deepblue unleashes an aural and visual feast of classical, rock, electronic and film music. It's unlike anything you will have experienced before but it is definitely great fun.
As audience members, you are invited to shape the show as it goes. deepblue asks that you leave your mobile phone ON and text message the group throughout the show with comments and song requests. This is the fun you need to have. deepblue - the proof is in the performance.
There was quite a lot of 'Pow!', quite a lot of 'Wow!', and it was definitely 'Now'.
