Zombieland

Zom rom coms don’t get any better than this. You get the walking dead with glorious grey skin, ripped out entrails snack food, brains a munching and love, sweet teenage love. Really, what more would any self-respecting film fan want or even need?

The story revolves around a road trip through post apocalypse America brought on by a strain of mad cow disease that has the population dead in the head and looking for love in all the wrong places. Woody Harrelson is very funny as a badass zombie killer, Jesse Eisenberg is his geeky sidekick and the film’s narrator, Emma Stone is the love interest (and kick ass chick in her own right) and Abigail Breslin is her younger sister.

The film has a big heart, modern look, clever editing and a cool list of zombie survival rules that those in similar circumstances should really consider writing down. Oh the film also has one of Bill Murray’s best cameos ever. Much love to the funny man and his big mansion.

This film is just too much fun and it’s not surprising to learn that it has become the top-grossing zombie film of all time. See it now with someone you love, just make sure they have a pulse first.
